These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Biskito mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Biskito.
Biskito is a mobile app that lets people share sports programs with a group so that team members can train together, log their daily progress, and motivate each other. That is the only intended purpose of the App.
Biskito is not a personal trainer, not a medical service, and not a replacement for professional fitness advice.
To use Biskito, you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). By creating an account, you confirm that:

You can delete your account at any time directly from within the App. See Section 4 for the full step-by-step process.
You can delete your Biskito account at any time, directly from the App. The deletion is permanent and removes all data associated with your account, including your email address.
To delete your account, follow these steps inside the App:

If you are the Owner of one or more teams, the App will ask you to either transfer ownership or delete each of those teams before you can proceed. This is to make sure that no team is left without an owner once your account is gone. Once every owned team has been transferred or deleted, you can continue with the deletion of your account.
Before the deletion is finalized, a confirmation modal will appear. It will clearly explain:
To confirm the deletion, you will be asked to type delete in the confirmation field. The action only proceeds once this confirmation is entered correctly.
Once you confirm, all data associated with your user — including your email address — is deleted. After this point, the deletion cannot be undone, and you will need to create a new account if you wish to use Biskito again in the future.
Biskito is built for community, sport, and motivation. By using the App, you agree not to:

Biskito helps you share and follow training programs, but it is not a substitute for medical or professional fitness advice.
You are solely responsible for your physical activity and your health choices while using Biskito.
Biskito is designed for non-commercial sharing of sports programs between members of a team. You agree not to:
The App exists to help people support each other, not to host commerce. Accounts using Biskito for commercial purposes may be suspended or removed.
When you create a program inside Biskito, you keep ownership of the content of that program (exercises, structure, descriptions). By using the App, you grant Biskito a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and share that program with the team members you choose, strictly to make the App work as intended.
The App, its design, brand, layout, visual identity, source code, and underlying systems are the exclusive property of Biskito and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You agree not to:
Programs created by other users belong to those users. You may follow them with your team but you may not redistribute them outside the App without the author's consent.
Biskito stands firmly against body shaming, weight shaming, fat shaming, and any form of physical-appearance-based harassment.
The App is a space to encourage, motivate, and support — not to judge or compare bodies. Specifically:

We take these reports seriously and act when needed.
If you witness behavior that violates these Terms, you can report the account or content directly inside the App. We will review reports promptly and take appropriate action, which may include warnings, content removal, or account suspension.
We reserve the right to remove any content or account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful to the community.
Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms by reference.
In summary:
We apply strong security practices, but no system is 100% secure. A breach originating from a third-party provider (such as Supabase or any underlying cloud infrastructure) is not under our direct responsibility. In any incident affecting our users, we commit to acting quickly, communicating honestly, and taking every reasonable measure to protect our users.
We do our best to keep Biskito running smoothly, but the App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee:
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biskito and its team shall not be liable for:
Your use of the App is at your own risk.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see Section 4). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or community standards. Upon termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published in the App and the "Last updated" date will be revised. For material changes, we will notify users in a clear and visible way. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable provincial laws of the user's province of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be brought before the competent Canadian courts.
